Before that, on the afternoon of July 17, the Ministry of Education and Training officially announced the handling of abnormal test scores in Ha Giang.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the working group of the ministry has directed and supervised the review of all stages of the exam. The results showed that the self-essay exams were accurate and matched. However, up to 330 exams are intervened to increase scores.

With multiple-choice tests, the assessment results showed that 102 math tests had a difference from 1.0 points to 8.0 points (the assessment score was 1.0; the published score was 9.0. point).

85 physics exam has increased from 1.0 point to 7.75 points (assessment score is 1.0; published score is 8.75 points);

56 chemistry tests had a difference from 1.0 points to 8.75 points (assessment score is 0.75, the published score is 9.5 points);

The 8 exams were up from 1.0 point to 4.25 points (the assessment score is 4.75, the published score is 9.0 points);

9 historical exams were up from 1.0 points to 7.25 points (assessment score is 2.5; published score is 9.75 points);

The 3 geographic exams had a difference from 1.25 points to 3.0 points (assessment score is 6.0; published score is 9.0 points);

52 English tests had a difference from 1.4 points to 7.8 points (assessment score is 1.2; published score is 9.0 points);

There are a total of 114 candidates, with more than 330 exams with a total published score 1.0 points higher than the assessment score. Many candidates have a total score difference of more than 20 points compared to the evaluation points. In particular, there are candidates whose total points are increased up to 26.8 points, even 29.95 points compared to assessment points.

The assessment also shows that some exams have increased scores compared to the published scores from 0.2 to 1.0 points. Particularly, there are 3 civic education exams with an increase of 5.75 points compared to the published score.

The leader of the Ministry of Education and Training said that the evaluation board decided the evaluation results were used to replace Ha Giang’s multiple-choice test results.
